Priority will be given to families in OCHA’s jurisdiction who are on OCHA’s waiting list and who meet all the criteria below:
·Between the ages of 18 and 61
·Has a disability, as defined in 42 U.S.C. 423
·Is determined, pursuant to US Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations, to have a physical, mental, or emotional impairment that:
oIs expected to be of long-continued and indefinite duration;
oSubstantially impedes his or her ability to live independently, and
oIs of such a nature that the ability to live independently could be improved by more suitable housing conditions; or
·Has a developmental disability as defined in 42 U.S.C. 6001
·Recently transitioned or transitioning out of Project Roomkey/Homekey
·Connected to Project Tool Belt
Once the list of eligible persons on OCHA’s waiting list has been exhausted, eligible persons will be referred to OCHA by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES).
