Additionally, if you can answer "yes" to any of the questions, this program could be for you:
  1. Are you a U.S. Citizen or Legal Immigrant to this County?
  2. Does at least one family member in your household have U.S. Citizenship or Legal Immigration Status?
  3. Are you a Veteran or a widow/widower of a Veteran?
  4. Are you at least 62 years of age or older?
  5. Are you or your spouse disabled or handicapped?
  6. Did you or your spouse work 42 weeks or more per year during the last three years?
  7. Are you or any other adult member in your household enrolled or have ever been enrolled in the CalWorks/Welfare-to-Work Program?
  8. Are you currently living in a shelter?

Homeless Prevention
Homeless Prevention centrally coordinates the preservation and expansion of the County’s Continuum of Care System for the homeless which focuses on homeless prevention, outreach and assessment, emergency shelter, transitional housing, supportive services, and permanent supportive housing..
