Housing and Community Services Multi-Family Affordable Rental Housing Development NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY - 2008

In April 2008, the County of Orange Housing and Community Services Department (HCS) released the 2006 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) which provides $5 million in HOME and OCDA funds and $7 million in Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funds (a total of $12 million) to be used for the development of affordable multi-family rental housing. The 2008 NOFA will stay open until funding is exhausted or is replaced by a new NOFA.

Funding is available in unincorporated Orange County and participating cities only for the first 90 days. After July 1st, funding will available county-wide except for the cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim and Garden Grove where only homeless projects are eligible for funding.
